Congratulations to Mariam Bundala who has been awarded a Baldwin Fellowship

Wednesday, May 15, 2019

We are thrilled to announce that Mariam Bundala (PhD student) has been awarded a Baldwin Fellowship from the Leakey Foundation!

Bundala is supervised by Dr. Susy Cote and her research project is titled "Middle Pleistocene paleoenvironmental reconstruction through phytoliths at Manyara Beds, Northern Tanzania".

The Baldwin Fellowships help students from developing countries get advanced education and training in paleoanthropology and primatology. Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowships are intended for scholars and students with citizenship in a developing country who wish to obtain education or training from an institution outside of the student’s home country.

Fabulous news Mariam!
