1984-1992 Cultural resource surveys in New York state with the Public Archaeology Facility, SUNY Binghamton; includes work as crew member, crew chief, and field director. Supervisory experience includes: multi-component prehistoric and historic sites in downtown Binghamton and Owego, NY; residential, commercial, and rural industrial sites in Alpine and Halseyville, NY; the Foster Island Civil War prison camp in Elmira, NY; a stratified Late Archaic site and a Contact period house site in Italy, NY; an early/mid 19th century rural Quaker community in Mecklenburg-Perry City, NY; historic and prehistoric sites at Stewart International Airport, Newburgh, NY; and a 12-mile linear pipeline corridor with 50+ prehistoric sites in Schoharie and Albany counties.

1989 and 1991 Directed archaeological investigations at the Quarry Farm site (Elmira, NY), the summer residence of author Mark Twain, Elmira, NY; with the Elmira College archaeological field project and the Center for Mark Twain Studies.

1987-8 Administrative Assistant for the Public Archaeology Facility, SUNY Binghamton; included payroll, billing, and cost accounting.

1982-7 Analysis of Postclassic ceramics and related material culture from the UA-1 and UA-79 excavations on the campus of the Universidad de las Americas, Cholula, Puebla - with Dr. Michael Lind and Dr. David Peterson.

1984 Excavation of a Late Formative irrigation canal at Amalucan, Puebla, and subsequent ceramic analysis - with Dr. Melvin Fowler, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

1981-4 Coordinated a project designed to identify archaeological resources within the urban zone of Cholula. Included surface reconnaissance, inspection of modern construction disturbances, and the excavation and analysis of features with investigators from the Centro Regional de Puebla and the Universidad de las Americas.
