Explore human & environmental history in a region that is iconic for its historical legacy, geologic dynamism, and natural beauty. Travel to Madrid, San Sebastian, Mont Saint Michel, Paris & more as you explore topics like sustainable development & heritage management.

Archaeology and Anthropology students will have the opportunity to take half of their courses from ARKY with a course on heritage and tourism (ARKY 327) and a course on The Upper Palaeolithic and Neolithic (ARKY 531). This is a great opportunity for our majors, particularly those interested in human evolution! We will be visiting Carnac, U.Paleo sites in the Perigord and in Spain and ending with WWII sites!

Course runs Spring session 2018.
