Fort Conger Virtual Exhibit Released!

Dr. Peter Dawson and Dr. Richard Levy, in partnership with Parks Canada and the Arctic Institute of North America, are pleased to announce the release of "Science and Survival": a virtual exhibit about Fort Conger, a heritage site located in Canada's High Arctic. The site uses games and 3D reconstructions of expedition ships, huts, and scientific instruments to explore the science of the First International Polar Year (1881-1884), and the contributions made by Indigenous people to polar exploration in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
