Giving

Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 01/30/2015 - 2:21pm

Thanks to donors like you, we are able to foster rich learning experiences and research opportunities for our students. In the last few years, some of the initiatives we have funded using donations from this program include: contributions towards our international and local field schools, our Archaeologist Consultant In Residence (ACIR) program, and updates to our archaeological and paleoanthropological collections.

There are a number of ways you can choose to support the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology. You can contribute to an existing scholarship fund, create a student award or bursary, donate in honour of a loved one or support us by leaving a gift in your will. Each and every donation makes a difference for the students and research you support.

Department of Anthropology and Archaeology 50th Anniversary Scholarship

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the University of Calgary, we have created a new scholarship - the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology 50th Anniversary Scholarship. Our department scholarship will be directed towards our majors. All donations of $25 and more will receive a tax receipt. The scholarship will accept donations on an ongoing basis. We need to raise $6000 before the first scholarship can be awarded.
